Can't believe I'm just now posting his 22 month pictures, and it is literally days away from his 23 month pictures.
This is what Jevin used to do when I said "cheese." Yikes. Need to find a better way to get him to smile :-)
Baby #2 update:
On January 31, I went to my 28 week check up. Zane was measuring 28-29 weeks, which is a tad smaller than Jevin was measuring at the same time. He was always measuring 2 weeks ahead. My blood pressure was a tad high 130/84, but nothing like how it used to sky rocket with Jevin at the doctor's office.
This was also the horrid gestational diabetes test. I had to drink that syrupy drink and then get poked. Once again, I failed. The cut off was 140, and I was reading 164. Ugh. The next week, Feb 7th, I went in for the 3 hour test. It was pure misery because this time around I wasn't allowed to leave the little area I was in. Last time, I was able to walk outside and get some fresh air. This time I sat in a tiny little room with lots of old couples going in and out.
The good news....I passed that one easily. In fact, some of my numbers were actually considered low blood sugar. By the time I was leaving it had dropped so low I was sweating, dizzy and foggy headed. The guy behind the counter finally reminded me that I could eat while I was waiting for the results. I think it was just in time. I was likely close to passing out. My last reading was 63, and I was still sitting there without food almost an hour later.
Zane's room is slowly making progress. It is totally cleaned out, the walls are painted, and the crib has been put in his room. Slowly but surely.
